When Ethan gets back, he shows his dad that he got Inkling back. Mr. Rylance is wondering how, and Ethan tells him the whole story. Inkling decides that now is the time to show the family the note, so they go to the studio to check it out. The note makes Mr. Rylance very emotional, and him and Ethan have a big hug. But then, Blotter comes seeping out of Ethan's shoe. Blotter escaped the sponge and caught up to Ethan when he fell! Ethan gets Blotter into athe shower, so Blotter goes down the drain. They celebrate too soon though. Blotter escapes the shower, and EATS Inkling! But Inkling pulls Blotter away. Inkling tells Ethan to bring the sketchbook, and Ethan opens it. The two ink splotches are fixed to the pages.
