When Ethan wakes up the next morning, he looks for Inkling but cannot find him. While he is looking he hears Sarah yelling, “Do it again!” Over and over again. When he goes to investigate, he discovers where Inkling is. Sarah is playing with him by whacking her hand down on Inkling, then Inkling goes all over the page as if he was splattered. Then Sarah tells inkling to turn into a dog and Inkling does. At school, Ethan shows his group the drawings that Inkling made, and they are amazed. Of course, they do not know about Inkling, so they think that Ethan himself drew it. Vika comes over, takes one look at Inkling’s drawing, and immediately says that his Dad did it for him. Ethan says that he did not, and everything is OK. Back home Inkling is exploring again, and he comes across some comic books. He starts reading them… When Ethan meets up with Soren, he tells Soren that he has to show him something. They go to Ethan’s house to a shock. Inkling has formed himself into a huge gorilla. Ethan threatens to put him back into the sketchbook if he does not turn back into an ink splotch, and Inkling obeys. Ethan tells Soren that Inkling drew the pictures, not him, and Soren agrees to keep Inkling a secret.
